About Mario
Mario brings to Belmont over 23 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Management for the golf industry. Prior to joining Belmont, Mario was the Regional Sales & Marketing Director for Wingfield Golf Properties, a position which he held for over five years. Mario came to Belmont in 2007 as Membership Director and moved his way up to General Manager in 2014. He has his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland as well as his Masters of Business of Administration from American University.

About Saman
Saman, originally from Sri Lanka, brings over 20 years of hospitality and food and beverage management experience. His career began with training in Germany and included roles in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Germany, and the USA. He has worked at prestigious resorts such as The Greenbrier in West Virginia and St. Regis in Hawaii. Saman transitioned to the private Club sector, holding positions at Chartwell Golf & Country Club and Norbeck Country Club. He was the Clubhouse Manager at the University Club of DC most recently. Saman enjoys spending time with his son and watching cricket and rugby in his free time. His global experience and dedication make him a valuable addition to our team.

About Laine
Laine is a NOVA native who graduated from Broad Run High School in 2019, she's been with Belmont since 2021 as a server and beverage cart attendant. After graduating from The University of Alabama in 2023, she returned home to join the Belmont family full-time as our Marketing and Communication Manager.

About Kady
Kady grew up in Virginia Beach. After studying at George Mason University, she loved the fast-paced environment and decided to make NOVA her home. Since her graduation, Kady has worked in a variety of roles in hospitality, including international events, catering sales, and trade shows. She joined Invited as part of the Chantilly National Team in 2018 and was previously the Private Events Director at River Creek Club. In her free time, Kady enjoys traveling, visiting her family in Outer Banks, and checking out the local wineries. She is excited to join the Belmont family as the Director of Private Events!

About Adam
Adam comes to us most recently from The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville, NC. Prior to being there, his golf experience includes internships at Rose Hill Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC as well as Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. Adam graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI with a bachelor's degree in Professional Golf Management and has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since 2008.

About Simon
Born and raised in Britain, Simon has had a multi-faceted career since becoming a member of the British PGA in 1996. As a Jack Nicklaus / Jim Flick Coach in the late 1990’s Simon coached everybody from Beginners through to European Tour Professionals including David Park, Garry Houston and Charles Challin before pursuing a playing career himself, predominantly in Europe from 2000-2004. During this time, Simon would represent Great Britain in the President of Russia’s Cup in Moscow, Russia. After a shoulder injury and two subsequent surgeries ended his playing career, Simon returned to coaching and spent nearly a decade in Junior Golf Development back home in Britain before taking on the role of Director of Asia-Pacific Player Development for Tiger Group (Golf) in Shanghai, China. Simon coached and mentored several promising young players during this time and still coaches players including Liu Jiao and Yu Rong on the China LPGA Tour as well as mentoring Leslie Cloots on the LPGA Symetra Tour & Ladies European Tour. Simon coaches World Long Drive Record Holder Paul Slater (884) and is also on the Instruction Staff for womensgolf.com Simon has been based in the US since 2016 and comes to us via The Snowmass Club in Colorado.

About Alejandro
Chef Alex is a native Peruvian; however, he has lived in Ashburn for the last 17 years. He has a Master Degree in Food Science as well as brings over 15 years of Country Club experience with him to the Belmont Kitchen. He has worked at several prominent Clubs in the Metro DC area to include: Lowe's Island, National Golf Club, Trump National and Cosmos Club. Chef Alex says, "he likes combining elements of various culinary traditions for a unique dining experience." He is excited to bring and share his experience and creativity with the Belmont Team and Members.

Paul brings with him over a decade of fitness industry experience, ranging from Division 1 Collegiate Strength and Conditioning to Private Training for a major health club as a master level trainer, as well as in-home training. He is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has a background in Corrective Exercise for injury prevention/rehab. He also holds two degrees from James Madison University, one in Business Marketing and one in Exercise Science.

About Sarah
Sarah recently graduated from Miami University in Ohio, where she studied Kinesiology and Psychological Science. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has experience working directly with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. Additionally, she is a certified nursing assistant and will attend Vanderbilt University in the fall to obtain her master's in nursing. Sarah’s outlook on training is to create a comfortable environment where clients can learn strategies to improve their health and self-confidence.
